Unizik ex-students honour former teacher, donate 6.5 KVA power generating set to school

The former students of Austine Eboatu, retiring professor of Chemistry and former deputy vice-chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, has presented to the school, in honour of their former teacher, a 6.5 KVA power generating set. This was revealed on Thursday, December 14, in a valedictory ceremony held in honour of the retiring professor, Premium Times reports. The vice chancellor of the university, Joseph Ahaneku, represented by the deputy vice chancellor, Charles Esimone, said the event was in recognition of Eboatu’s immense contribution to the growth of his department, faculty and the institution. He noted that supervising students, especially postgraduate, is the most enjoyable in his academic career.
